GLOBAL OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE PROGRAMS

Seta’s oldest relationship case study is GE, which took place in two periods: from 1996 to 2004 SETA Training and Consulting professionals worked with GE in Latin America to structure the training and certification of all of the company’s Business professionals in the region. In this phase they worked as company employees. Alberto Pezeiro, Founding Partner and CEO of SETA Training and Consulting was a Master Black Belt and at the helm of GE’s Six Sigma trainings and certifications from 1996 to 2000. He later worked as Master Black Belt at GE Plastics Latin America. Seta associates Fábio Sacoman and Marcio Francato worked as Black Belts at GE Plastics Latin America and Mexico from 2001 to 2004. After SETA Training and Consulting was founded, Seta consultants and associates continued providing training to GE Green Belts through the present day. This represents over 12 years working alongside one of the most widely recognized Global Operational Excellence Programs and more than 2000 professionals trained by Seta associates and consultants.  

Motorola (ELETONICS)
Seta was one of the company’s that provided Six Sigma training in Brazil (Green Belt, Black Belt and DFSS) between 2005 and 2008, teaching over 20 groups and helping the North American company prepare the first employees for the recently opened Brazilian chapter.

SKF (AUTOMOTIVE)
SETA Training and Consulting worked jointly with Global Master Black Belts from SKF in Sweden to develop the Portuguese version of Six Sigma Training materials, customized for Brazil. Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and Champion classes were conducted for the Organization. In addition to the training sessions, Seta associates and consultants followed up on the projects, provided guidance for financial gains and participated in certifying employees in the region.

AES (ENERGY)
SETA Training and Consulting has been working with AES local and Global Master Black Belts since 2008, developing and administering the English, Portuguese and Spanish version of the Six Sigma Training materials customized for the company in Latin America, the United States and Europe. Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and Champion classes are conducted at all AES business units around the world. In addition to the training sessions, Seta associates and consultants followed up on the projects, provided guidance for financial gains and participated in certifying employees.
 
Roche (PHARMACEUTICALS)
Preparation and training of Green Belts, Black Belts and Champions in Brazil with customized material in line with strategies of the Global Program in Switzerland. In addition to the training, project mentoring was provided, as well as guidance for the financial benefit capture strategy and participation in the belt certification process.
 
Whirpool (HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES)
From 2006 to 2012, Seta structured and applied Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt training for Whirlpool’s administrative area and Supply Chain in Latin America. Material, including “Change Management”, customized at the client’s request. Hundreds of Green Belts and Black Belts were trained and projects were mentored. Starting in 2010 Seta began preparing internal Program instructors and granted the rights to use its teaching materials so the company’s Green Belts and Black Belts could conduct in-house training, reducing dependence on the consulting firm.
 
Westrock (PAPER AND CARDBOARD PACKAGING)
In 2016, SETA Training and Consulting supported formation of the OPEX framework for Westrock Brazil, Três Barras plant, training its MBB.It also adapted its material according to Westrock’s global grade and trained over 40 Green Belts. The program at Westrock Brazil has been recognized as a world reference for the group.
  
AB-Inbev (BEVERAGES)
As of 2016 SETA has been serving as primary consultancy for project mentoring at AB-Inbev in Brazil. It follows the program guidelines that are standardized all over the world. Today, more than 60% of the Green Belt and Black Belt projects developed by the group are mentored by SETA consultants. With over 80 dedicated days in 2016 and more than 100 projects, the financial return has reached upwards of R$ 70MM.
 
Maersk (LOGISTICS)
SETA has been providing Green Belt training to Maersk Group subsidiaries in Brazil (APM Terminals, Mercosul Line) since 2011, using material aligned with the global program. We also supported formation of the first Yellow Belt and Green Belt groups at APM Terminals in Angola, again in line with their global program. 

Carlson Wagonlit Travel – CWT (TRAVEL AGENCY)
Seta has been working since 2016 as partner for implementing CWT’s operational excellence program in Brazil. Fully aligned with the global program, it has been supporting the structuring and implementation of a complete OPEX program at the organization. The proposed cultural change entails implementing Kaizen (Lean Office) in operational processes to take on routine and simple problems and training all levels of the organization in the Lean Six Sigma methodology (White Belts, Yellow Belts, Green Belts) for resolving more complex problems. The training model involves use of their own global material (GBs and YBs), and local SETA material for WBs and Kaizens. Their MBB will also be trained by SETA in our open class which is held every year.
 
Nestlé (FOOD PRODUCTS)
In 2009 SETA adapted and structured the training materials for Green Belts, Black Belts and Champions according to Nestlé’s (Switzerland) global program, becoming the sole Belt training provider for the Brazil branch. Since then, more than 200 Green Belts and 50 Black Belts have been trained. A distinctive feature in this program is that Lean Six Sigma is linked to Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE), which has TPM as its backbone Materials, language and examples are therefore aligned with NCE. Black Belt training sessions cover leadership topics such as Conflict Management, Change Management and Influencing Techniques.
  
International Paper (PAPER)
According to the Master Black Belt Americas guidelines, SETA Training and Consulting structured and applied Green Belt, Black Belt and Master Black Belt training. The material was customized with Forestry and paper manufacture case studies, including “Change Management”. Aside from the training sessions, mentoring was provided for projects and capture of financial results.
