SPC – Statistical Process Control
The SPC course teaches how to monitor production processes through control charts and statistical analysis. The training enables professionals to identify unnatural variation patterns in a process and act preventively to correct them, continuously improving performance.

INTRODUCTION
- View / Process Management
- Basic Statistics – revision of position measurement concepts (average, median) and scatter (standard deviation and amplitude)
- Discrete data and variables of Statistical Process Control SPC
- Concept of statistical control charts
- Concept of process stability
- Stable and unstable process
- Common causes and variation special causes
- How to collect data for inputting in the control chart
- Creation of Statistical Process Control Charts
- Calculation of Control Limits
- Criteria for process instability definition
- What to do when instability was identified? Action Plan 5W1H
- Control limits vs specification limits
- Control charts for discrete and variable data
- Implementation exercises
- Activity: at the end of the training, the participants will be divided in groups to read and interpret actual control charts of the client and present to the other groups in class.
**_Workload_:** 8 hours
**_Pre-Work_:** Prepare and send to SETA some of the database of the involved processes.
_**NOTE:**_ There is the option of using Minitab and Action software for statistical analysis.
