Structure:

  • Definition of the presentation strategy
  • Defining the purpose of the presentation
  • Adhering the message to the target audience
  • Executive presentation versus training and awareness
  • Performing the executive presentation
  • Four blocks: start by bringing the main message
  • Capturing audience attention by modulating speech according to audience indicators and priorities
  • Importance of context in problem description: from macro to specific scenario
  • Understanding problem definition, cause and action and how to represent them using indicators, charts and basic templates
  • Action plans, communication and prioritization
  • Closing: defining next steps and how they connect to the main message
  • Practical case study using a generic case provided by SETA or a presentation based on real company situations
  • Lessons learned from the practical case
  • Sharing learning points: continue and consider
  • Statistics of biggest hits and main areas of improvement opportunity
  • Theoretical reinforcement when needed based on obtained results
  • Actual case: respecting confidentiality of figures and information, with examples of executive presentations from other companies including banking, paper and cellulose, oil and gas and consumer goods sectors
  • Group exercises to practice key elements

Workload:

4 hours in two sessions of 2 hours plus 1 additional hour. Each participant will have one hour between sessions with the consultant for presentation review
