Project Management (PMO and Agile Coach)
Objective: To manage, control, create appropriate cadences and provide transparency on the results, risks and failures of the project portfolio or specific projects.
Most commonly used techniques:
• We work with part-time consultants (a few days a week or month) or full time consultants (full time for a specific period) using the following techniques:
• Traditional Project Management (Waterfall - Acting as PMO)
• Agile Project Management (Employing hybrid agility models: Scrum, XP, Kanban, Spotify - Acting as Agile Coach / Scrum Master).
Work plan:
• Understanding/knowledge of the Project/Initiative Portfolio
• Use of the Cynefin Framework (Author: David Snowden) to define methodologies to be used for each initiative in the portfolio
• Definition of methodology (traditional or agile)
• Implementation of rites, roles, metrics and artifacts common to the chosen methodology
• Portfolio governance and executive reporting.
