19/09/2021 GE Latin America and GE Crotonville Cases (OIL & GAS; HEALTHCARE; WATER; TURBINES)
Seta’s oldest relationship case study is with GE. Since 1996, SETA Training and Consulting professionals have been working with GE in Latin America and with GE Crotonville, the Organization’s legendary Corporate University, based in New York but with branches in Germany, India, China and Brazil. Alberto Pezeiro, Founding Partner and CEO of SETA Training and Consulting, was at the helm of the Training and Development area at GE Corporate Latin America in the 1990s and was responsible for bringing the first Crotonville Leadership training sessions to the region, as well as leading implementation of the Six Sigma Program, training the GE’s Green Belts, Black Belts and Master Black Belts in the region. In addition to Six Sigma training, Alberto was an instructor and facilitator of various training sessions in the region, such as “CAP - Change Accelaration Process”, Workout, Finance for Non-Financial Professionals, “Presentation Skills” and others. As part of the Leadership training program in the region, Alberto was also responsible for the Trainee Program, Corporate Recruitment and Selection, as well as the whole corporate performance assessment process, which would later be incorporated into all Leadership training projects that he participate in. After spending a few years in a Business Executive position at GE, Alberto left the company in 2004 to found SETA Training and Consulting and there began the second phase of relations with the company. Since then it has been one of Seta’s primary clients, where the company’s associates have been teaching many GE Crotonville training programs to the company’s current and future Leaders in Latin America.

These training programs are mostly taught at the GE Crotonville campus in Rio de Janeiro. The instructors undergo prior training with the global Crotonville team until they are certified as qualified to conduct the courses. In addition to Brazil, Seta has been teaching these courses in other Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile and others. During these more than 20 years of relations between Seta professionals and General Electric, over 5,000 GE professionals have been trained in the mentioned programs.
 
Case Daimler Corporate Academy (AUTOMOTIVE)
Seta has been teaching Leadership Training courses to Mercedes Benz professionals in Brazil since 2015. Two modules have been applied to executives in Brazil: “Leadership in Practice” and “Leading Teams”.  Seta associates have participated in the training and certification with professionals from Daimler Corporate Academy, based in Germany, and apply the training in Brazil in partnership with the company’s HR department.
 
Case Sanofi-Pasteur (PHARMACEUTICALS) – Feedback & Coaching
Preparation and training to apply “Feedback and Coaching” training to executives at the Sanofi Group’s subsidiary. Training conducted in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, involving the company’s full senior management, according to guidelines from the Global Corporate University. Seta associates participated in accreditation preparation with the company’s “Learning & Development” area, based in France.
