Diagnosis and Definition of Objectives

The Seta’s professional will work together with the process leader in the customer to understand the objectives to be achieved and to define the work plan during the project. Also, it will be analyzed the current situation of the company in relation to the objects to be achieved.

Implementation / Accompanying

All the Seta’s professionals – Management Development – have recognized academic experience and in business. They utilize the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to assure the discipline and efficiency in the job of implementation and/or accompanying the steps of the project.

Analysis of the Results

At the end of the project, the Seta’s professionals review together with the customer the achievement of requirements desired and define a maintenance / monitoring plan of achieved results. In this way, the implemented changes during the project development will be assured. Besides that, eventual financial benefits will be evaluated in a way to allow the customer to avail the return over investment of the developed project.

Actual Case

We present below a brief explanation of a consultancy work done by SETA together with one of our clients that acquired one company abroad and needed to implement all its management model. We can divide the process of consultancy in three phases:

1 – Strategic Deployment: from the business strategy identify the most important goals of the company at the different levels of the organizational pyramid, i.e., at the strategic level (executive), tactical and operational.

2 – Routine Management: with the goals in hands, identify the critical process and, mainly, the indexes of them that, if controlled and between specification limits and objectives, will assure the achieved of goals. Here, it is common to use Analyze methodologies and process understanding as Six Sigma is.

3 – Continuous Improvement: for the variables that we identify lack of stability and low performance, we act with continuous improvement projects. Again, tools as Six Sigma arises as big allies.

Management of Results: through the development and implementation of control systems, we can assure the sustainability of the improvements and the implemented management of routines, as well as, to count the obtained results. Frequently, the use of cockpits and the management via indicators.
