1.2.6 - SIX SIGMA YELLOW BELT

Objectives:

The course have as central point to train in a macro way the structure and the basis of the Six Sigma. Besides that, some tools are teached to support the YB to lead small changes in the routine processes in his area, at the same time that develop him to participate effective as team member in the projects of the GB and BB´s.

In short:

  • General and macro view of Six Sigma and its relation with the improvement of the processes and of management of companies.
  • To understand the DMAIC flux (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) together with its main tools for application in continuous improvement of processes.
  • To examine the role of the Yellow Belt inside the organization.
  • To reinforce and exemplify the participation of the Yellow Belts in the organizational processes, mainly in what refers to the role of facilitator.
  • To understand the business view and statistical technical aspects to better support the development of the methodology Six Sigma.

Target-Audience:

  • Operation professionals from many of the working areas in the organization.

Pre requirements:

  • There are not impeditive pre-requirements for the training. It is suggested that the practitioners have the profile to develop improvement projects.

Training Modalities:

  • In company – Carried out in Closed Classes, by customer request.

Requirements for Certification:

  • These training are only provided in company”. Thus, the certification depends on the customer requirements. In general, the followed standard is:
    Development of one project with results for the working area of the YB.
    OBS: All participants earn the conclusion certificate.

Specific Needs for Training Attendance:

  • Computers – Should be one for each three attendants (company)
  • Use of Excel software
